  2. 3-4 Red Apples cored and cubed
  3. 2 Bird Chillies or Dry Chillies
  4. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. 2 tsp Salt or to taste
  6. 4 tbsp Ghee
  7. 3 Onions sliced
  8. 10 Black Peppercorns slightly crushed
  9. 5 cloves
  10. 4 Green Cardamoms
  11. 1 " Cinnamon stick
  12. 1 tsp Garam Masala
  13. 1 tsp Cumin powder
  14. 3-4 Green Chillies finely chopped
  15. 2 tbsp Pistachios toasted
  16. 2 tbsp Raisins toasted
  17. 2-3 tbsp Peanuts toasted
  18. 1 bunch Coriander Leaves chopped
  19. 1 tsp Caraway Seeds or Shahjeera

Instructions to make to make Red Apple Pulao

  1. In a cooking pot, heat ghee. Add caraway seeds, bird chillies and ginger garlic paste.
  2. Now add cumin powder and the sliced onions. Saute them until light brown. Also add the garam masala.
  3. Next add the rest of the whole spices along with the finely chopped chillies. Saute all of that until lightly browned and done. And finally add the cored and cubed red apple pieces.
  4. Saute all that well and simmer for 3 minutes on a low heat with a lid on. Adjust salt according to taste. Now add the cooked rice or the leftover rice. Stir until well combined.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves, toasted raisins, peanuts and pistachios. You can use any of your favourite nuts and can use leftover rice too for this recipe. Enjoy!
